We crushed the 2019 Sonoma harvest grapes yesterday with Friends of Cross Creek. The shipment almost didn't happen but did. Enjoyed the time yesterday with friends. The grapes will cold soak for a few days then we begin fermentation. Next excuse for a party will be the pressing of the grapes after fermentation completes.

This was the process of pumping the newly pressed wine from the driveway area down into the wine cellar and the stainless steel tank. After the sediment settles in the next couple weeks, we will rack the wine into the french oak barrel to begin aging.
