Beer Sorcery Brewing Beer Sorcery Brewing - Where the Magic is in the process and the flavor.

Beer Sorcery is a home brewery that strives to make unique beer that teases your taste buds. Since I do like to discuss my brewing with others and share what is going, I don't like to flood my personal social media accounts with my brewing and alcohol related information, so it is shared here. This page was originally started a while back but wasn't updated as much because I wasn't brewing regularly and 2018 is the year that will be about exploring my interest of homebrewing a farther.

Sad about Curmudgeon’s retirement? Well, you’re in luck, because we’re sharing the recipe with you on Learn to Homebrew Day! This old ale is brewed with molasses and an insane focus on the malt bill, then oak-aged. The result is a rich, malty delight that’s deceptively smooth and drinkable. ...

This page is a way to discuss my current homebrew projects and discuss it with other homebrewers, pro-brewers and non-brewers.

Hopefully some good information would be shared through here and thoughts from outside the brewing world would spark some more good ideas to consider.

The new addition to the brewery.
Stainless Steel Pin (5 Gallon) Cask from American Keg with the keystone, shive and spiles. Now I will need a stillage, tap and mallet.

This will be the home to an English Barleywine in the near future. The beer is being brewed for the Real Ale Experiment VI, which is focused around English beers and how they carbonated and served.

This will be my first time trying a Real Ale styled beer. Very curious how it will turn out.

We have four entries in the Bluebonnet Brewoff in Dallas, TX. Keeping fingers crossed that we do good. If the one brew wins anything, Mike and I will probably end up in the hospital from laughing too hard.

Tonight we bottled the Old Ale that comes out at 8.1% abv and the Irish Stout that came out at 6.8% abv. We have two small batches of the Irish Stout in the secondary.......one has Cocoa Nibs & ancho chilies. The other has the same but we added Dark Sweet Cherries. Can't wait to see how these turn out.

We bottled the 8.1% abv Old Ale and the 6.8% Irish Stout.
