If you are interested in being booked at Giddy Ups, we would like you to consider the following:
- We are a cozy and small bar, actually, one of the last true Honky Tonks still existing in South Austin, mostly catering to the Americana (Country, Blues, Classic Rock, etc.) Actually, the bar is not much bigger than an oversized living room with a fireplace. Due to the space limitations, we can only hold a certain amount of people and we definitely don't need an Arena sound mix. And therefore we are also limited to what we can pay a band for their services. But we do offer a PA sound system, complete with monitors, mic stands, and microphones
All that said, we have a no-cover policy, but if you want to charge an extra door fee, you would have to bring in your own people taking care of the two entries to the bar.
