Day two of my Tech II class.
First hollow dome ring. This class is so fun and the professor is great. Walks around checking on everyone’s work.
Just about every other instructor gives a demo then sets at their bench working on personal projects. You feel like you’re bothering them if you have a question.
This is a six hour class every Saturday.
I’m really glad to be here.

These are the pieces that won “Best In Jewelry” in an Art show on ACC Highland campus. It was an honor just to be a part of such an exciting event.
It was fun at the ceremony and receiving almost $300 in visa gift cards was wonderful.
The ring is Camel Back Jasper and sterling silver. The necklace is West Texas Agate that is translucent when held up to the light. On braided leather with a one of a kind clasp that I will post pics of later.
What do you think? I called the combination “Thunder and Sand”
I’m so happy to have them back on my possession though. I look very forward to seeing who these pieces end up with…

The most color you will ever see me wear lol. Purple vest for my big day. They are about to give the awards for the 50th annual art exhibition pieces awards.
I made it in the handout. That’s award enough for me! I will be receiving the judges award for best in jewelry.
I was honored just to have my works entered. There are some amazing artists here.
