RIP JOHN ANDERSON 🙏🏼

It is with the heaviest of hearts that we share the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather, and best friend.

To the world, he was a gifted country music singer whose voice and songs touched countless lives. To us, he was so much more. He was the heart of our family, the one who made us laugh, loved us fiercely, and made every ordinary moment feel special.

We are completely heartbroken.

His music will live on, but for us, his greatest legacy will always be the love he gave his family and the memories we will carry with us forever.

Please keep our family in your thoughts and prayers as we grieve this unimaginable loss.

We are saddened to learn of the passing of longtime Nashville entertainment reporter and broadcasting veteran Jimmy Carter, who died Tuesday, October 13, at the age of 73.

For nearly a decade, Jimmy was a familiar voice on KOKE in the Morning, sharing the latest news from Nashville, behind-the-scenes stories from the entertainment world, and plenty of laughs along the way.

With a broadcasting career spanning more than five decades, Jimmy had an incredible wealth of knowledge and a seemingly endless collection of stories. Whether he was talking about country music’s biggest stars or sharing a personal encounter from his years in the business, he had a way of making listeners feel like they were getting the inside scoop from an old friend.

We are grateful for the years Jimmy spent as part of our mornings and for the memories he leaves behind with our listeners and radio family.

Our heartfelt condolences go out to his daughters, his entire family, his friends, and all those who knew and loved him.
