It is with great sadness that I must pass on the news that our good buddy T-Bone passed away. That ’Shoe in the sky just keeps getter bigger and bigger.

5 years ago these wonderful people bid the Horseshoe Lounge one hell of a farewell. 3 days of friends, cold beer, music and love. Look at this picture and you can still feel the love.
A very special thanks to Rachelle McKinney McWright for this picture, which makes me smile every time I look at it. You captured a whole lot of good ju-ju, Rachelle. Thank you Lady.
I am grateful for everyone of y’all for making the Horseshoe THE HORSESHOE. Without you it would have been just another bar, not your home and refuge. A place where you were safe, cared for and loved. It makes my heart soar knowing that y’all have stuck together and remain good friends.
FAMILY IS WHAT YOU MAKE OF IT, AND WE MADE A PRETTY DARN GOOD ONE!

Thanks Vista Brewing for having us and putting us inside where it was nice and cool.

Gonna take time today and tomorrow to rehearse for a new record we are cutting at EAR Studio this weekend. Also, gonna sneak in a visit with TheRut.com for "Troubadour Tuesday".

I will be back at it this Wednesday 10pm at The White Horse with Hill Country Hustlers. Then Old Quarter Acoustic Cafe Thursday 8pm telling lies and singing songs with my man John Evans Band.
