Our thoughts and prayers are with Bobby’s family and friends. It was truly an honor to have known him. He will be deeply missed by everyone fortunate enough to have crossed paths with him. Rest easy, Bobby.

Augusta, GA – Bobby Frank Mills, 78, entered into rest on Tuesday, September 1, 2026, at his residence.
Graveside services will be held from Hillcrest Memorial Park on Thursday, September 3, 2026, at 3:00 o’clock with the Reverend Alan Leach officiating.
The family and friends will meet at the graveside.
Family will receive friends from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Wednesday, September 2, 2026, at Chance & Hydrick funeral home.
Mr. Mills, son of the late Frank Mills and the late Ann Langdon Mills, was born in Augusta, GA. He was a retired Electrician with Local 1579. He attended Olive Road Church of God in his younger years; was an avid fisherman, enjoyed the outdoors, the Atlanta Braves, NASCAR, and shooting pool, he was a great gardener who had a green thumb- growing wonderful tomatoes and flowers, he played little league and pony league baseball; he attended and graduated from Butler High School in 1965 and afterwards attended Brewton-Parker College.
Mr. Mills was preceded in death by his brother, Ronnie Mills.
He is survived by his niece, Candace Dunaway (Robert); his great niece, Emma Dunnaway and his cousins, Mike Davis, Pat Cave, and Betsy Reagan.
