River Stage at 8th Street This is a gem along Augusta's Riverwalk. From the 8th Street Plaza, walk past the levee, toward the river.

If you fall into the Savannah River, you've gone too far. There's a quaint stage, covered with an acoustical awning, with ample power for a small event - a wedding, wine tasting, or concert. Candlelight Jazz and Saturday Market performances held here throughout the year, along with an occasional community gathering. The landscape is beautifully manicured, complete with wooden swings and picnic tables.
