This will be our last week at The Buss Stop.
It is with a very heavy heart to have to make this decision.
We have poured every bit of ourselves into this place and then poured some more.
Unfortunately, we've been fighting month after month to keep these doors open since day one.
Pulling from our own pockets to get through another week.
Making sacrifice after sacrifice as we put this place above everything else in our lives in hopes that the light at the end of the tunnel would come eventually.
We understand that we are the most expensive place in town and when we had to raise the prices, we lost the business.
Literally, not one complaint ever, aside the prices.
We didn't want to run a cheap joint though.
We already have plenty of cheap options in Augusta.
However, with what we provided, came with very reasonable prices and were very comparable to other businesses operating at the same level we were.
We didn't take this over just to flip burgers. We came in because we genuinely enjoy the art and skill of creating real, quality food and drink.
Food and drink is what brings people together around the table. It's a beautiful thing.
But it all came with a price.
We took this on for many reasons.
1. A business opportunity in an industry we are very passionate about.
2. We didn't want to see The Buss Stop get auctioned off. We wanted to save it. Mostly for our own reasons of being so sentimentally attached to the place, but also, because it has been a staple to the community for 40 years now.
3. We were excited to put our skills to work and provide this town with top quality food, and great service in a clean, family friendly atmosphere.
We are proud of what we've done here.
Everything we've learned.
Everyone we've met and the relationships that were made.
We don't regret a second of it.
We wouldn't have done anything different.
We will always be grateful that we had the opportunity to experience something we've always wanted to do and we had alot of fun doing it.
God is pulling us in another direction now and we are excited for the new adventure that's been placed on the path ahead of us.
It's time to get back to our family and the more important things in life.
Thankyou to our loyal customers that recognized our value and supported us from beginning to end.
Thankyou to our staff that stuck with us through thick and thin and gave this place everything you had right alongside with us.
We made some pretty amazing memories and gained a family for life. 🤞
Our last day will be Saturday, December 23rd.
Come help us go out with a bang!
