Back at one of my absolute favorite venues, Boothby’s Orchard, celebrating Remy & Vincent! 🥂🍎

What an incredible day surrounded by an amazing team of vendors and an even better group of guests. Their signature drinks were a huge hit all night long, an Old Fashioned and a Blue Hawaiian. Let me tell you, this crowd knew their bourbon! 🥃 They brought an impressive selection, and we LOVE to see that.

Fun fact: my favorite cocktail to make is actually an Old Fashioned, so I was in my element all evening.

The beer selection was top-notch, the food may have been some of the best I’ve ever had at a wedding, and then they topped it all off with ice cream and coffee. Honestly, could you ask for anything more? 🍦☕️

They’re honestly kinda my specialty. Over the years I’ve taught myself how to recreate a lot of my favorite cocktails as mocktails because I truly believe everyone deserves to feel included in the experience.

Whether you’re sober, pregnant, the DD, under 21, or just not drinking that night… you still deserve something fun and intentional in your hand. Not just soda or water.

The theme was “Something Blue” and it could not have been more perfect. Between the sweetest most fun group of girls, the details, the weather, and the cocktails flowing all afternoon… it was such a fun celebration for the bride before the big day. 🍸🫶🏼

Keenan approved the frozen strawberry lemonade while I handled the “field research” on the new purple lemonade… and honestly? Both were SO good. 💜🍓He is a BIG Popeyes fan and has been waiting very impatiently!

The night before the first wedding of the season… and I honestly can’t believe we’re already here. 🍸✨

This season feels different in the best way.

For years (almost TWO DECADES 🫩 which is actually insane to think about since I’m not even that old) I’ve balanced the restaurant world while building Raising The Bar from the ground up behind the scenes, raising a baby as a baby, finishing my degree, and growing up. The tears. The miles traveled. Late nights. Double shifts. Early mornings. Weddings on repeat. Constant hustle. The hundred of thousands of drinks poured.

And as much as the restaurant world exhausted me at times, it also built me. It taught me how to move under pressure, connect with people, handle chaos, and truly fall in love with bartending in the first place. I grew up in this industry. It became a part of me. But somewhere along the way, this business became more than just a side thing… it became THE thing.

So here’s to the start of wedding season and quietly stepping away from one chapter and fully into another, one where I get to focus on what I truly love most: being present for my son, creating experiences, bartending weddings, hearing love stories, and bringing people together for moments they’ll remember forever. 🥂

Tomorrow kicks off our FOURTH wedding season and I could not be more grateful for every single client who trusted me enough to help get me here 💖

Now excuse me while I finish packing the car, obsessively re-check every bin for the fifth time, clean, prep, and attempt to sleep knowing my favorite season starts in the morning. ✨
