We have not posted about what happened to BrewPOP due to NDA's and other legal obligations and not sure when those will end.

All we can say at this time is BrewPOP Brewery's location in Auburndale is closed permanently.

BrewPOP is 3! imagine that Polk County…

Sept 28th is our 3rd year anniversary and we are celebrating with what else BEER, Wine and Big Ole Burgers and then those wonderful Beer Pretzel bites with Jerry’s world-famous Beer Cheese, as this is what BrewPOP is about, creative Beer, awesome food to go with that creative Beer and Friends to actually sit down and talk with.

We will be starting the celebration on Friday and then continuing all weekend long, as a 1-day celebration, well just that sucks, 3 years, 3 days, duh.

All weekend long we will have, $3 off all full pour Beers, Brewjitos and Wines. Then 30% off BrewPOP Grower fills, ahh what the heck, bring in any Growler from any Brewery and we will give you 30% off and $3 Pretzels bites with Jerry’s world-famous Beer Cheese!!!!!

Then Friday, Saturday and Sunday until they are gone, the infamous huge build your own BrewPOP Burger, we will be having our build your own Burger all weekend long, we will have limited quantities of Camel, Boar, Elk, Ostridge, Buffalo and our famous BrewPOP blend, suggest if you want the exotic, Friday early is your best option, no reservations for the Camel :-)

Then we have a keg of 3-year-old Grizzly Honey and a Grizzly Deterrent, dam they are awesome, so come in for the most tapped Grizzly series ever, this weekend we will have 10 different Grizzly’s for you to enjoy, then maybe a good Grizzly story from Jerry.

Then we are releasing two +11% ABV sours, well actually tarts but they are really good if you are into sours and a tart if you are adventuring into sours, not too pucker-ery, No other Brewery in FL has something this adventurous, come shed that IPA fad and cross over to a Sour, we have an Orange and a Lemon.

Then ole sneaky me, I have 1 Growler of 3-year-old 13% 'The Big Effort', our very first beer we made, which has aged so nicely at 2 years and the 3rd year veeeery last of it will be awesome (Well if Will bottled it right and if not, we will have the whipping stick ready for his behind.). Friday night I will be flipping the top on this beer to share with the most enthusiastic group, I will gladly pour for you at your table (mainly my Glass :-) ) and we can all enjoy the last of a wonderful beer, be sure to be kind to Jerry from the time you walk into the door, (Note: Jerry likes gifts of Big Beers 10% or higher, big ole Barley Wines or funky Sours.)

Then I will have some other 3-year-old Growler surprises to enjoy, BUT be sure to be extra kind to Jerry with gifts of beer, big beer that is :-)

New Beer time is here again and we have some oldies but goodies and a reallllly oldie at 3 years old that is and some soon to be new favorites.

1 - Carmen's Brew 3.0, 10.3%, nice blend of Coffee and Chocolate with a generous amount of hops, with a touch of caramel and coffee

2 - Carmen's Caramel Brew, 10%, 2nd runnings of Carmen's Brew and then Carmen wanted a bit of Carmel, caramelized unrefined Belgian Candi Sugar and added a touch of rough Ground Coffee..

3 - Big Brown Bear, 9.2% A really big Brown Beer,Think of this as a tweaked Newcastle that has been BrewPOP'ed

4 - Little Brown Cub, 5.6%, (2nd Runnings) so Half A really big Brown Beer

5 - Orange Pucker, 11.5%,Beer requested for a +10% Sour, created this Kettle sour from a American strain of LACTOBACILLUS for souring, added Citra Hops and Orange Peels

6 - Lemon Pucker 11.3%, Beer requested for a +10% Sour, created this Kettle sour from a European strain of LACTOBACILLUS for souring, added Lemon Drop Hops and Lemon Peels.

7 - Grizzly Soured my Bee, 4%, we dug in the archives and found another keg of this delicious Sour

Then Next weekend 9/28-9/30 we will be celebrating our 3rd year of making beer and also in our Archives I found a 3 year old Grizzly Honey and it is freaking awesome and a must have for all you Grizzly series beer lovers.

We will be announcing more on the 3rd year festivities shortly.

We have talked about this before and this weekend Fri, Sat and Sunday (Sept-14,15 & 16) we are having a Adult Kool-Aid party all weekend long to make you feel like a kid again (We will have Kool-Aid for the kids also)

We will have 2 Kool-Aid flavors mixed in Rocket Fuel for a 14% blast from the past.

Blue Raspberry Lemonade and Strawberry Kiwi

Then have it with a Kids Cheese or Kids Pepperoni wood fired pizza to bring our you inner kid a bit further.

$10 gets you 2 Kool-Aid drinks and a Cheese Pizza
$11 gets you 2 Kool-Aid drinks and a Pepperoni Pizza

Then you can get the Kool-Aid with or Without Ice

And if you do not want the Pizza, well we will have the Kool-Aid Rocket Fuel available.

Come and have some fun and giggle like a kid again.

New Beer time is here again and we have some oldies but goodies and some soon to be new favorites.

So for Jerry's Birth Day this Thursday 8/30 We are releasing 9 new beers, Happy Birthday to ME :-))))

1 - Carmen's Brew, 10%, nice blend of Coffee and Chocolate with a generous amount of hops.

2 - Coffee Hefe, 6%, 2nd runnings of Carmens Brew and I thought what the heck, lets use Hefeweizen yeast and it turned out very interesting for sure, a Black Coffee Hefe.

3 - Big Red Wagon, 10% A really big Red Beer

4 - Lil Red Wagon, 5.4%, (2nd Runnings) so Half A really big Red Beer

5 - Strong Man, 10%, An American Strong Ale fermented with English Ale Yeast

6 - Might Might, 5.3%, (2nd Runnings) so half An American Strong Ale fermented with English Ale Yeast

7 - Unleashed 9% ABV, Big malty brown that is full of notes of Honey, Camel and the mild hops give it that oh so nice malty touch.

8 - Prickly Pear, 5.2%, 2nd runnings of Unleashed that I added a Bunch of Prickly Pears from my back yard that I had to clear out. So throw them away, heck no here at BrewPOP we made a Beer with them. I have been wanting to make this beer for about 5 years and figured it is time and it really turned out better than a expected, slight melon sour with a real cool mouth feel.

9 - Four Thirds, 3%, I took the 3rd runnings from Carmen's Brew, Big Red Wagon, Strong Man and Unleashed blended them all together and dry hopped with enough hops to well do 4 beers, you get this really big Hop Aroma nose without the hop bitter and then the beer has +20 malts that is really cool to try and figure out what is going on, just a beer to have fun with.

Been a while since releasing new beverages due to we have been working on new cool additions to the Rocket Fuel line up.

This Friday 8/10 we will be releasing 2 new Rockets.

After Burner: 14% ABV, made the finish a bit dryer than the Rocket Fuel and took a huge amount of Hops to create a really cool 'hop green' color, slightly citrus and you get a bit of hop resin taste, come taste hops in this BrewPOP way.

Recovered Rocket Booster: 16% ABV , One of the feed backs received about the Rocket Fuel is it was tooooo sweet for some, well the new R.R.B. was created to be dryer than water, just simply clear and higher ABV, it will put your taste buds into outer space.

Then we are thinking of having a Cheese Pizza and Kool Aid party (Kool Aid made with the 14% Rocket Fuel). nothing like a 14% Kool Aid to bring your inner child out to play?
