Today, we met with Auburn Code Enforcement, and we went through their full 3-page list of code violations to determine which violations needed to be prioritized 1st. Many on their list did not rise to the level of critical violations. They met with us, spent 2 hours with us addressing each item, and listened to what we proposed to fixing first, which could allow us to reopen sooner than later. Reopening will allow us to earn the money needed to fix the remaining items on the list. Initially, we thought we were being closed because of the heating problem. But after a complaint was made, Code Enforecement went through our historic bomb shelter building with fine tooth comb. After their inspection, it became the heat & much more.
We are working in tandem with them now to quickly resolve these violations. Our suggestions were well received, but as with anything to do with local government, the process is slow moving. Code Enforcement will now take our requests to determine a path forward and schedule a meeting with the Fire Inspector, Cayuga County & NY State code enforcement agencies This meeting of all agencies will determine if our requests will be approved and adapted giving us a quicker path to reopen.
We are pleased with how this meeting went, but we still have no set timeline as to when/if approval will happen. Thank you for your continued patience & faith in us.

Also, We've had Requests from Patrons to Get into the Bldg to Retrieve Their Bowling Equipment.
Therefore, Anyone Interested in Getting Their Bowling Equipment Can Come Tomorrow, Thursday Jan. 25th Between 4pm & 6pm to Pick Up Their Bowling Equipment. Thank You.

Faded Vinyl will Not Be Playing At Falcons This Saturday. We Are Working With Them To Reschedule.

Sorry Faders, but unfortunately we are going to have to postpone this Saturdays show at Falcon Lanes Tidal Wave Bar and Grill. We are working with them to find another date to party with you and will let you know as soon as we do. Thanks for your understanding and we'll see you soon !

We Now Have the Report from Code Enforcement and We are in Communication with Them. Obviously Not Enough Time to Open this Weekend. We Remain Closed and Will Update Again Early Part of Next Week. Therefore the
Saturday Morning Youth League, Saturday Afternnoon Cordial Couples League
& Sunday Night Mix-Up League
won't be Bowling. League members Contact Your Team Captians or League Secretary to see if this Week is Postponed or Canceled.

Update:
We're going to tell you all what we know & dont know. We're being completely transparent with you. Until we get the report from Code Enforcement, it's hard to estimate the time it will take to get things fixed & reinspected. We don't know if code enforcement found something else, aside from original problem.
The code inspector did his walk through on Friday, Jan 5th, and then he got Covid. He was out of work the entire following week & only he had his notes or so they told us. So this whole mess has been delayed bc the code inspector got covid, was out of work for entire week, & only he had his notes. Today, a Good Samaritan got involved and asked code enforcement to get the report finished and get it to us. I called again this afternoon, and code enforcement is now saying we'll have the report by 12 noon tomorrow. I hesitate to give you a date, bc its changed before. So, depending on what that report says, it will determine what, if anything, additionally needs to be done, allowing us to establish a realistic time line on re-opening.
