Whelp. Eight and a half years of brewing IPA at Torched Hop has culminated in this Double IPA (releasing Sunday at 11:30am).
IPA has evolved dramatically over the years. New hop products, new hop varieties, new yeast strains, thiol forward products….the list goes on and on. We have brewed over a hundred unique IPA recipes since April 2016. Each recipe was designed to keep pushing the boundaries of the style and to put the best beer in a glass. I’m hopeful you will be able to taste the years of hard work, dedication and experimentation is this final IPA release.
Last Drive Down Ponce 👉 This 8.4% Double IPA was brewed with American grown barley. Hopped heavily with several forms of Mosaic, Citra, El Dorado and Riwaka. Finishes dry, clean, pleasantly bitter and full of tropical fruit character. This is an IPA we are proud of. One we hope brings back fond memories from the last 8+ years.

This is a post we didn’t want to write but one we must. It’s with a heavy heart we announce December 31st will be our last day of business.

We’re still trying to put into words what the past 8 years and 8 months has meant to us. So for now we will keep it short and sweet.

We are forever grateful to the team members who have put so much effort into making Torched Hop a special place. We are also thankful for the many regulars, friends and family members who have supported us on this journey. It’s not the fairy tale ending we had hoped for. But we have created memories that will last a lifetime.

We hope to see you over the course of the next 2 weeks.

Dropping fresh cans of Whole Cone Hops de Leon at 4pm today. This variant of our flagship West Coast IPA was dry hopped exclusively with the freshest whole cone Mosaic and Citra hops. Resinous notes of ripe mango, orange and a hint of blueberry. See you at 4pm for fresh IPA and Sicilian slices.
