We decided to start The Brits In Atlanta Meetup Group because although it is wonderful meeting people from other cultures, there is something special about spending time with people from home. We want the Group to be a support network to help ease the transition. We have a pub Meetup once a month and other, more family friendly events, when possible. We stopped by Waffle’s English Tea room in Dahlonega today and had a wonderful welcome, along with a delightful spot on the porch to drink our tea and eat some yummy macaroons! They also have cream tea’s and afternoon tea - they looked amazing!! Honestly the best cup of tea we’ve had in a while!! Highly recommend and you can call ahead to book.
