Understory No. 4 is Monday, September 21.

We’re welcoming Chef Kyle Taylor of HE COOKS® for a five-course dinner inspired by the lifecycle of an ingredient.

Tomato, dairy, brassica, grape, and fig each get their own course, showing up fresh, preserved, cultured, or fermented along the way. Each course will be paired with wines selected and presented by Whitney Blue of Prime W**e & Spirits and Nico Raia of Banville W**e Merchants.

We’ll start the night with a welcome cocktail at Burle’s and a little time to wander downstairs at The Victorian before sitting down for dinner.

Our patio, bar, and downstairs spaces are all available for private events, with options for groups small and large. Keep it simple with a patio gathering, take over the entire bar, or add The Victorian downstairs for a full-on bash.

🪴 We also offer private terrarium workshops downstairs at The Victorian, great for team outings, celebrations, or friends looking to do something beyond the usual dinner and drinks.

On Monday, July 20, we're welcoming Nicky Firmin-Chavez of UMAMI F(r)IENDS for an evening inspired by Atlanta summers, family traditions, and the stories shared around the table.

The multi-course menu draws from Nicky's Afro-Caribbean heritage and Southern roots, with produce sourced from local farms throughout Georgia. Each course will be paired with Italian wines selected by Morganne of Avant Partir , small family growers whose stories are as thoughtful as the wines themselves.
