Calling all folks on spokes! This is a call to action to help save the extended patio space at 97 Estoria. They are not only an integral part of the Cabbagetown community, but friends of cyclists everywhere and home of Midweek Roll.

Let's MASS up on Wed, 04/20 at 7PM to park our bikes, with purpose, in their lot.

Pedestrians, mass transit riders, and micromobility users are welcome, too. Let's show the city by our numbers that we need more space for people NOT cars!

Our regularly scheduled Midweek Roll will launch at 7:30 PM and return back to 97 Estoria.

We will continue to do food to-go tomorrow until we run out. We’ve had to shut down early the past couple of days due to an overwhelming amount of business that sells us out of prepped food. We are a small kitchen/establishment and can only prep so much at a time. THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND YOUR PATIENCE!

The reality of it is, we have a TON of food that will go to waste unless consumed by the public. In efforts to help our staff that was laid off this week, we’ve decided to sell our food to go at a reduced price. 100% of the proceeds will go to our amazing staff that is currently out of work due to COVID-19. Please come contribute to this amazing benefit! Our wonderful patio has been rearranged to accommodate social distancing, and this is where you can wait to pick up your food order.

It is with careful consideration for the health and safety of our staff, regulars, and community that we have decided to close 97 Estoria until further notice. We believe that the best choice for us in our community is to advocate for social distancing and maintain health standards. In doing so, the entire Estoria staff is now without income for the foreseeable future; for many of us this job is our only form of income.

The current state of affairs has everyone stressed and desperately searching for solutions, and community support is integral at this time. We are humbly asking for donations to help get us through these unknown futures—to help us pay our rents, mortgages, bills, insurances—and simply help us get by. Without all of our beloved patrons and regulars, we would be nothing, and we have nothing but unconditional love for y’all.

Every little bit helps, and we will be forever grateful and appreciative of any support we receive.
