What a pleasure to work alongside some of Atlanta’s culinary giants at Project Open Hand’s Party in the Kitchen.
We were asked to create a cocktail, so naturally, we had to do something with w**e. Enter our creation: Colomotxo — Aix-en-Provence rosé, Colombiana soda, aguardiente, sour orange juice, and Angostura bitters.
An incredible crowd came together and raised more than $632,000 to support Open Hand’s medically tailored meals and nutrition programs.
I (Adam M Berlin) have been supporting Open Hand with my family for more than 30 years, chiefly in memory of my late uncle Martin. It was a real pleasure to work with them again.

Under Pressure W**e—Juan Fernando Cortés and Adam M Berlin—will be creating and serving the beverage program for Open Hand Atlanta’s 23rd annual Party in the Kitchen!
Join us Thursday, September 24, for a great night of food, w**e, and community, raising critical funds to provide medically tailored meals and nutrition services to neighbors across Georgia.
We’ll be pouring alongside an incredible lineup of chefs: Kevin Rathbun, Peter Kaiser of Peter Kaiser, Austin Goetzman of Aria Atlanta, Matthew Basford of Canoe Restaurant, Joey Vazquez of Chicheria Mexican Kitchen, Terry Koval, Anthony DiNardo of Henri's Bakery & Deli, Jessica Gamble, Cedrick Simpson, Diana Watkins, Chris Hall of Local Three, Matt McCarthy of Murphy's, Evan Churchill of Osteria Mattone Italian Restaurant, and Arnaldo.

Under Pressure W**e co-founder Juan Fernando Cortes Juan Fernando Cortés built a following through his longtime Stanky W**e pop-up alongside Bradford Tolleson—pouring unexpected bottles, sharing what made them special, and bumping Outkast.
He has worked at and led some of Atlanta’s top w**e institutions, from Restaurant Eugene to Atlas and The Garden Room, before becoming the opening Beverage Manager at The Chastain, where he received the Michelin Guide’s Sommelier Award.
Now, he’s bringing that same spirit to Under Pressure—serious w**e without taking w**e too seriously.

Plus capt mudfish spinning Bowie, Queen, The Police, and more from 6-10pm.
