STIRRED, UP! brings us the debut of Athens’ latest band, Medical Emergency! This not-so-relaxed-rock group is a new project from Jacob Miller, Chris Leary, and Nate Gebhard. Join us on Sunday at 7pm for the free show!!

Every third Sunday of the month, Nate hops out from behind the bar and hosts a live music series on the drums. It’s STIRRED, UP!, featuring a new guest artist each month.

BAGEL BATCH ROUND 5 at open Saturday 4/25

Improvements made in batch 4
- Decreased hydration rate did produce denser bagel with more chew
- Additional mixing produced tighter bagel shapes
- Faster handling producing fewer overproofed bagels and fewer airy pockets and reduced bready quality
- Parmesan bagels def work

Further Improvements intended for batch 5
- Further increased mixing for even tighter bagel shapes
- Better handling to preserve more bagels with good shape
- Reduced yeast addition to ideally facilitate longer cold storage and reduced fermentation particularly as bagels warm prior to baking
- Tweak bake timing hoping to increase Maillard reactions on bagels without sacrificing oven spring

We’ve got so many exciting things to do!

Come on down for TURNT TABLES Vinyl DJ party with DJ Tall Ass Matt on Saturday from 8-close!!

STIRRED, UP is back (every third Sunday) with on the kit and rippin it up on the guitar.

And in case you missed it - our 2 Year Reunion is Monday, 4/20. Johnny, Nate, and Wes will be kickin’ it old school and hanging with y’all all night!

Gahdayum yall that was a crazy week 😮‍💨😮‍💨 We just had our top food sales and draft beer sales weeks of all time 🎉🎉🥳🥳 We cooked so much dang pizza I had to turn off online ordering yesterday so we had enough to serve guests at the bar!!

Thanks so much to all the media groups that showed us love this week!! from was out filming live segments at our early on Tuesday (I’d say bright and early but the sun wasn’t even up when we started 😆😆) named us to their 2026 pizza shops hot list. put our story and recent accolades on their front page, and ran an article on their website

It was so cool to see a ton of new faces and make a bunch of new friends this week. And ofc gotta thank all our regulars that came out in force as usual. We had multiple birthday parties, karaoke, paint and sip, arts and crafts club, and open mic. The vibes were high as hell.

It’s so exciting to see things coming together and I’m absolutely amped. If I’ve slept 15 hours the last 3 nights I’d be surprised but I woke up at 7:30 this mornin like I’d just got back from a tropical vacation. Can’t believe this time next week is 2 years. Looking forward to seein our bud back in the kitchen for our 2 year reunion on 4/20. Most of all can’t wait to share more tasty snacks and delightful drinks with all ya’ll.

Things we did right from batch 1 to 2
1. Upgrade from bagel to BIG BAGEL
2. Create our own everything bagel mix toasting some ingredients prior to increase aromatics
3. Better shaping

Things were working on for batch 3
1. Reduce proofing to increase shell formation during boil
2. Change salt in everything seasoning to coarsest grind I could find and slightly reduce total quantity in mix
3. Continue to improve shaping
4. Bang out orders faster
5. New cream cheese flavor FRENCH ONION SOUP CREAM CHEESE 🇫🇷🇫🇷🧅🧅🥯🥯
