KLOOTCHY - Spruce Tip Wild Ale
Named after the Klootchy Creek Spruce, this giant Sitka Spruce tree was once the largest tree in Oregon and the first Oregon Heritage tree.
This mixed-culture wild ale was brewed exclusively with Pacific Northwest ingredients and fermented with a unique blend of native yeasts. After the primary fermentation was complete, the beer was aged on local spruce tips, which are hand-foraged by our father every spring.
After packaging, a slow year-long tertiary fermentation inside the bottle creates bright natural carbonation. This special beer is live, and will continue to evolve in the bottle. Cellar responsibly.
Herbs: Locally Foraged Spruce Tips
SYMBIOSIS - Dark Farmhouse aged on Figs
The fig would not exist without the fig wasp, its only pollinator. It is in this symbiotic spirit that we brewed this special beer in collaboration with our great friends at 7 Devils Brewing Co (Coos Bay, OR). This complex dark farmhouse ale was fermented with a special native mixed culture and then left to age on black figs. It was then packaged and allowed to referment in the bottle for two years to produce a vibrant, natural carbonation.
Delicious notes of cocoa and honey are layered within a complimentary Brett presence. Enjoy this special variation within the Symbiosis family of beers!
Fruit: Black Figs

DUANE STREET - Gin Botanical Saison
At first glance, a simple road. Bordering the historic heart of downtown Astoria, a traveler can find themselves transported to an era past. Shop doors reveal the makers, the craftsmen, the artists, and the alchemists whom embody the gritty lore of our small town. A lore that speaks of perseverance, determination, and community pride. It is with this inspiration that Reach Break Brewing Co and Pilot House Distilling concocted this beer.
This saison was brewed with a unique native culture and allowed to age on a special blend of gin botanicals. A two year slow refermentation inside the bottle creates amazingly complex, mature flavors. Overall, this beer took 3 years to create. A bouquet of citrus and herbs resonate through tart layers of funk.
Herbs: Gin Botanicals

GOSE AZUL - Tequila Barrel-Aged Gose
This hyper-local gose was brewed with Oregon grown grains and NW hops. The beer was fermented with a special native mixed-culture, and allowed to age in Diablo Azul Tequila barrels (from our neighborhood distillery) with fresh lime zest. We produced the salt ourselves, from local sea water, straight out of the Pacific Ocean...and while we won’t call it a margarita, one can easily understand where we obtained our inspiration!
After packaging, a slow extended tertiary fermentation creates a vibrant, natural carbonation. This beer contains live cultures. Chill well before serving, and allow the natural sediment to settle.
Special Additions: Lime & House Made Sea Salt
Wood: Diablo Azul Barrels - Pilot House Distilling (Astoria, Oregon)
