Stone's Public House Stone's Public House was built from 1832-1834 by John Stone, who called his business the Railroad House. Nestled in the Downtown area of Small Town Ashland, Ma.

Subsequently, his ownership and management initiated many of the legends that live today. in Metrowest Boston. Stone's Public House is a popular destination for Irish Pub enthusiasts and Classic American Gastro-Pub seekers alike. The quaint and rustic charm of the brick encapsulated Post and Beam structure is just the beginning. The multiple fireplaces, aged hardwood floors and exposed beams compose the setting for you to enjoy a diverse menu of Pub fair, from a Classic Juicy Cheddar Burger, to some upper scale delicious entrees from the a la carte dinner menu. The 24 taps always have a varietal of craft beers that you won't find in most establishments from local brews to across the pond with the staple being Guinness. The wine list is expansive and selected by the Chef carefully to pair with food selections. There are bottle offerings in many wine categories and within most budgets. The bar has an eclectic cocktail list accompanied by an extensive selection of Small batch bourbons, Whiskeys from both sides of the pond, including an array of Single Malt Scotches.
