What a night. Our Harp & Fare pop-up at Fariner Bakery was completely sold out, and we’re incredibly grateful to everyone who came out to celebrate with us.

A huge thank you to for hosting us and for their continued support as Harp & Fare grows. Partnering with businesses that share our vision is what makes nights like this possible.

And of course, shoutout to for keeping the energy high all evening with the perfect Irish playlist. We couldn’t have asked for a better soundtrack.

Our SOLD OUT Harp & Fare Holiday Event at Fariner Bakery is happening tonight, and we cannot wait to welcome you in.

Doors open at 8:00 PM, with live music all evening from Pint of Plain, plus craft cocktails, beer, wine, and cozy pub-style food served until 11:00 PM or until sold out.

As a reminder, this is a sold-out event, so expect a lively atmosphere and possible standing room only. Pull up a chair, make a new friend, and enjoy the pub spirit.

We've had a few new faces around here, so grab a pint and let us reintroduce ourselves. We are Nicole and Tyler Reher, the people behind Harp & Fare Public House.

Harp & Fare began as a way for us to share our love of old-world pub culture. From our travels through Ireland, New York, and Boston to long evenings spent in historic pubs tucked down narrow streets, we were inspired by the sense of community these places create. Neighbors become friends, stories flow as easily as the pints, and the warmth of the room matters just as much as what is poured. That spirit is what sparked the beginning of Harp & Fare.

In 2020, we started hosting intimate supper clubs in our basement, and a small community quickly formed. People in Omaha who felt the same pull toward slow evenings, good food, and true Irish-style hospitality showed up and kept coming back. Before long, our idea grew into pop-up pub events around the city, each one centered on the cozy and rustic old-world atmosphere we love so much.

Today, Harp & Fare continues as a traveling pub experience. We do not have a brick-and-mortar location yet, but we host seasonal pop-ups around the metro for anyone who appreciates the charm of an old-world pub filled with hearty dishes, well-poured pints, live music, and good company.

For us, a proper pub has always been more than a bar. It is a gathering place, a place to linger, and a place where craic comes naturally.

This weekend, we had the pleasure to work with Salt Creek Song Festival for their winter supper club. This year’s winter theme was inspired by a night in a German Christmas market, and it was truly a night to remember.

The night started off with a VIP cocktail hour which included cocktail demonstrations and a live musical performance by Jared Hiscock and pianist Anne Madison. For the main course, we prepared hearty beer cheese soup, followed by traditional German dish Rouladen. For dessert, a delicious sticky toffee pudding was provided by Damie Elder-Hiscock. Also, check out those stunning dinner menus - they were all hand-written by Postscript.

We are so incredibly humbled to be able to partner with such talented people in the Omaha community, and appreciate everyone’s support as we continue to explore our pub-concept in the coming year.

In the meantime, enjoy some of these little sneak peeks from the evening — we were too busy having fun to take more pictures.

Call it a Christmas tradition. Our Winter Social Club is December 16, and we are thrilled to collaborate once again with Harp & Fare Public House and Damie Elder-Hiscock whose whimsical yet rich dinner will be paired with lieder performed by festival co-founder, Jared Hiscock, and pianist Anne Madison.

During our VIP Hour guests will learn how to craft a perfect Irish Coffee or Viennese Hot Chocolate, enjoy additional music, and have the opportunity to learn more about the inspiration for the evening.
