On Thursday night, October 1st, at Local 31 Pub an unexpected drama unfolded: Roy Rogers was kidnapped!

Not the legendary singing cowboy himself, but the pub’s six-foot cardboard cutout—beloved mascot, unofficial mayor, and friendly greeter since January 2024. A customer snatched Roy and bolted out the door, carrying him under one arm and disappearing up the street.

Now we have a new mission: The Resurrect Roy Rogers Fund. We are inviting customers to chip in for a replacement cutout. We hope to raise enough money and find a new Roy in time for the cowboy’s real birthday on November 5th.

What a great variety of music at Local 31 Pub this week! Of course, you can perform on Tuesday and Wednesday nights when our gracious host, The Great Martini plays your favorite songs starting a 9p.m. On Thursday, folk duo The Have Nothings from Flagstaff, AZ will be performing crowd-pleasing mix of classic oldies, bluegrass, and sing-along favorites. On Friday, it's the return of Cool Cat Funk! Dress as a kitty and join the funky fun starting a 9p.m. On Saturday night, Camp Django Student Jam will take over the Pub performing gypsy jazz music in a fun, relaxed setting! And on Saturday at 4:30p.m. the Fluid Druids return with Irish music for your listening pleasure!

It's going to be another fun week at Local 31 Pub! The Great Martini will host Ashland's best karaoke on Tuesday and Wednesday nights starting at 9p.m. On Thursday at 7p.m. Casey will put your brain to the test at Trivia Night! Grab a team and compete for prizes and bragging rights! On Friday, Thunderchud is back at Local along with Family Obligation and Special Guest! $10 cover for a night of great music! On Saturday, Black Light Ritual will rock the house! And at 4:30 on Saturday, The Fluid Druids will fill the Pub with the sweet sounds of Irish music! Get down here!

SMOKED PORK RIBS - Cherry and Oak smoked, fall-off-the-bone, baby back pork ribs, glazed with Dangerous Lee’s BBQ sauce, and house pickle. Comes with a side of potato salad, fries, tots or house salad. You've gotta try them!
