Family Meal ✨

Every shift, before we open our doors, we feed our teams a meal- all varieties of food too. We let our kitchen crews get creative!

This is a longstanding tradition made to start off each shift by gathering around a table (or bar) together and filling our stomachs to bring camaraderie and nourishment.

All so we can start the shift out right and give our best to you!

We make sure to do this not only at both Vinnie’s locations, but for all of our staff at each Scheffer Group restaurant. ❤️

Behind the bar at Vinnie’s, Josh has poured his heart into this industry for years, and when you ask him why he loves it, he doesn’t talk about the cocktails. He talks about la famiglia. The community. Bringing people together, one round at a time. That’s the real recipe.

It’s pasta Thursday, and both locations are bringing their best!

The Original has Pesto Mafaldine, tossed in creamy basil pesto, finished with stracciatella and pine nuts.

South is serving up Capellini Carbonara with guanciale, egg, pecorino, and black pepper... rich and classic.

Either way, grab a fork. Buon appetito! ❤️

We’ve been crowned Best Italian Restaurant in Mountain Xpress Best of WNC for the 16th year in a row. We couldn’t have done it without you! THANK YOU for all your love and support!

But hold onto your cannoli, ‘cause that’s just the start; we also took home Best Pasta for the 12th year running and Best Restaurant in both North and South Asheville. Not too shabby, huh?

BIG LOVE to Josh March, our master of the mix, for snaggin’ FIRST place for Best Bartender. We’re also proud to take second place for Favorite Restaurant of WNC, second place for Best Service, and first place for Best Comfort Food.

The weekend lineup just dropped.

𝑫𝒐𝒘𝒏 𝒂𝒕 𝑺𝒐𝒖𝒕𝒉, chefs are serving up Stuffed Portobello Mushrooms with Gorgonzola, garlic, and breadcrumbs, then setting them over mom’s marinara with a drizzle of basil-infused olive oil. Simple, a little indulgent, exactly what a mushroom should aspire to.

𝑶𝒗𝒆𝒓 𝒂𝒕 𝑻𝒉𝒆 𝑶𝒓𝒊𝒈𝒊𝒏𝒂𝒍, it’s Veal Saltimbocca on deck: veal sliced thin, layered with sage and prosciutto, seared fast and finished just right.

The Original just released a brand-new menu built for savoring every last drop of summer.

Seasonal Spritz — house spirit, pineapple ginger syrup, prosecco, soda.
Amalfi Mule — Tito’s vodka, limoncello, fresh basil, house ginger.
Soprano Sour — Old Forester bourbon, amaretto, lemon, a dash of something bitter.
Made Man Mai Tai — plantation rum, dry curaçao, almond orgeat, spiced demerara, lime.

Four new drinks, each one built for sitting a little longer at the table. Salute! ❤️
