Locally owned and operated, we opened our doors in 2004, and we have been making friends and loyal customers ever since. With a focus on healthy and sustainable food, we serve traditional and creative Mexican street food: burritos, tacos, quesadillas, pupusas, nachos and much

o más. Our mission is to serve affordable food that tastes great and is sourced responsibly. This means using as much organic produce and non-GMO products as we can afford; it means ordering humanely raised meats and working closely with our local farmers for our daily specials that follow the growing seasons. We are Asheville’s favorite burrito and Mexican restaurant, so come join us and taste the difference.

Today At Mamacita’s, a seafood classic from El Chapo’s coastal state of Sinaloa. These cheesy shrimp and poblano chile tacos were invented by a hotel chef as a special dish for a visit from the Governor…or so the story goes. Here in North Cackalackey we gabachos affectionately refer them as Tacos Al Guvnah! They rock our socks off and hope you love them too!
