This past Saturday’s celebration drew the Arlington community together for the 5th Annual Juneteenth Celebration at the Levitt. Opening with the National Anthem and Black National Anthem performed by the Levitt Youth Spotlight: Nadia Wicks, followed by sets from DJ and drummer duo Branoofunck and electric headliner 4 Ya Soul Band. It was a night of joy, unity, and honoring Juneteenth through music that moved both the soul and the feet!

The celebration was presented in partnership with the Arlington Sigmas - Iota Mu Sigma Chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., continuing the event’s tradition as one of the highlights of Levitt Pavilion’s free summer concert season in Downtown Arlington.

Jay Perez will be coming to Levitt Arlington THIS FALL, Friday, September 18, 2026!

Jay Pérez is an American Tejano musician, who is known for mixing rhythm and blues with traditional Tejano Music, Regional Mexican and Latin pop. He was born in San Antonio, Texas on September 21, 1963. He attended John Jay High School but dropped out during his junior year to work and provide for his brother and sister. Initially a drummer for the Mysterio Band with Albert Castañeda, he then became a lead vocalist for the groups Latin Breed and David Lee Garza y los Musicales. Pérez began a solo career in the early 1990s, and has released several albums.
He has won several Tejano Music Awards, including Male Vocalist of the Year in 2000, 2003, 2004, 2005, 2006, 2007, 2008, and 2010, Entertainer of the Year in 2008, and Male Vocalist of the Decade Award (2000–2010) for 2010.

Last Friday Night at Levitt Pavilion Arlington was our inaugural Texas Made Songs: Singer-Songwriter night! Sponsored by the Texas Music Office, the free concert celebrated the rich tradition of Texas songwriting with performances from Ellison Wren who opened up the night for our Levitt Youth Spotlight, Tony Pierce, and headliner Dawn and Hawkes. Their storytelling, heartfelt lyrics, and Texas music influence connected with a crowd gathered under the summer sky. The evening highlighted the enduring power of singer-songwriters to bring communities together through authentic, homegrown music.

From June 25-27, Levitt Arlington and the Jordan Tourism Board (Visit Jordan), will host The Jordan Experience-a multi-day cultural event ahead of the Jordan vs. Argentina match on June 27. There will be live music and performances, cultural showcases, live World Cup matches and more!

The festival opens approximately one hour before the first match each day, with the national anthems of the competing nations played before every match.
