Hello everyone thank you all for the kind remarks. Aces has been closed for a little over a week, and people are still trying to get used to it actually being gone. Everyone at Aces did work really hard, and we all appreciated you, our customers.
On another note we would like to continue our care cab and party bus service. I will be around to some local bars in the next week to see if they are interested in our care cab service. If you happen to know of a place that may be interested in the care cab please respond to the party bus page. As for the party bus please friend it on Facebook by searching [email protected] to find out any and all information. Party bus seats 15 and can do outings, weddings, sporting events, bachelor parties, dances, or just a fun night out.

Well now….. A few days removed from the closing of Aces….Trying to find the words….Here we go…. I find myself feeling saddened by closing, but excited about what the future will bring. I have often said…. As one door closes another will open, nothing is forever so enjoy what time you have while you have it. There is never a good way to go about closing something that has meant so much to me and so many other people around me or having to make a decision that impacts so many people that I care about. I have become very close to the staff at Aces and it pains me to see such a great group of people out of work because of our closing. I hope for all of you your able to be back to work as soon as possible and find yourself in even a better situation.
Change can be difficult but sometimes it becomes necessary. Unfortunately we’ve found it necessary; we had hoped that the move to the freeway location would give us the volume of business we needed to continue. With little change to our business volume, the current restrictions that are in place for our industry and upcoming changes that have or will take place in Olympia will render businesses like Aces unable to succeed. This is apparent because the state has lost around half of its non-tribal casino licensees and with upcoming changes is trying to lose the rest. These businesses not only provide a large amount of jobs but huge tax revenue for the state and cities. Our relationship with our city officials has been wonderful and they have tried to help us succeed in every way. These problems are at the state level and are a result of the current monopoly on gambling that is taking place in our state.
Ok… I apologize that’s enough politics and reasons why. I’m so thankful for all the wonderful co-workers and customers that I have had the opportunity of getting to know over the last 4 years. Many of the friendships I’ve made at Aces will last much longer than my time at Aces. We’ve had a lot of good times, a lot of laughs and I’m very thankful to have been a part of it. I hope to see you all soon for more laughs, more fun and more memories at our old spot. I will continue to be a part of the Buzz Inn Steakhouse and I’m optimistically looking forward of the things to come. Happy New Year!!! May all of your lives be filled with Aces

Friday, the employees of Ace's Casino & Sports Bar are having a "Bring in the New Year Party."

We are having an employee decorating contest to decorate the casino, bar, and restaurant. Come help judge the best team.

7 pm Employee Bounty Poker Tournament;

8 pm Taco Eating Contest;

DJ Cali playing music 9 pm to 1 am.
