Now the memories are starting to flow in. Our first 6+ years at the club, we had two workmen that were both in such a state of disrepair We barely had one of them that would ever operate. And then a previous BOD greenlighted the purchase of a brand new John Deere gator. What a transformational machine for our Golf Course including the ability to do sanding and top dressing projects. As I washed it for the last time today, I may have got a little Misty eyed.

Our 70+ year-old push-up greens have suffered mightily over the last couple of open winters. Consisting of 50% plus poa it has taken a significant effort from our turf team to bring them back to life this spring. The areas that have been lost are being replaced with bent grass plugs, which will grow in nicely and provide a quality putting surface in a short period of time. Our nursery green may need some attention and replanting, but that is why it exists. Thank you for your patience as we bring things up to our normal top of shelf playing standards. May the course be with you.
