I don't have words to describe the devastation happening in Maui at the moment. This was a second home to me. For those that are local and native, this loss is so great - spiritual places are gone, cultural centers that contained priceless archives and artifacts burned down, loss of life and place. Hard to believe that this was 10 years ago - right when I started the truck...my Mom had some to visit and wanted to make sure that I knew how to make a plate lunch...;). She was the driving force of the truck & the restaurant - I miss her like crazy...and I miss you guys! Mahalo!
