From 2013 to 2023, Wild Brute Winery has fulfilled a DECADE of wild fermentations right here in Arkport, NY. It’s been a fantastic experience filled with wonderful highs and equally challenging lows—but overall, a great lesson in growth.
Through Wild Brute, I’ve been able to help shape a culture of food & drink in the area, as well as influence NYS in minimal intrusion and indigenous fermentations. We’ve really accomplished a lot for such a small production.
But now, I have decided to take an extended hiatus from this project, and make some time to reinvent and reinvigorate. This wine production has been my passion project for 1/3 of my entire life, and the entirety of my adult life. And although I don’t know when and on what platform, Wild Brute is an amazing concept that will resurface when it and I ready to do so again.
But before I drop the curtain on 2023, I have one final opportunity to enjoy the winery and grab bottles.
Stop up on the evening of Wednesday, October 25th from 5pm to 10pm for wines by the glass & bottle, a bonfire, and a great evening on the farm. I’m also releasing a “lost wine” that was never before released called “Ox & Gin” rosé dessert wine.
Also, you’re welcome to bring your own snacks—I’m sure we will have some to share as well. Either way, it will be a great evening at my favorite bit of land in the world. Cheers 🥂
