Wow it’s been a lifetime since Jim and I started our journey 19 years ago as owners of our neighborhood pub. As we wind it down towards our retirement this week, we want to thank the decades of loyal customers who have supported my multiple family businesses on Cricket Ave in Ardmore since 1976. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

News about John Henry’s was shared on social media that some of you may have seen. Our staff was informed earlier in the week and we were respectfully trying to give them some time to digest this news before announcing it publicly. So we are here now to let everyone know that John Henry’s will be closing permanently on February 28th. Jim and Kathy will be retiring from the bar/restaurant business after 39 years. We would like to thank our customers who supported all of our family businesses on Cricket Ave since 1976! The Mayo Inn, Annie’s Cafe and John Henry’s Pub hold many memories for all of us that we will cherish 💚. It’s a bittersweet moment for us but we are looking forward to our next adventure!
