Long sappy post alert!
Yesterday was our 10 year anniversary party and the biggest event we’ve ever put on. We are BEYOND grateful for our team, entertainers, family, performers, production, friends, and patrons for not only how fun & smooth yesterday was, but for the last DECADE of Missfits Tavern.
Huge shout out to Kimmy, Lucia, Hannah, Jeremy, Krystle, Savana, Malia, Kahlan, & Alex for absolutely busting your asses all day and being the most hardcore team of badasses we could ever ask for.
Huge thank you to our always supportive, and incredible family: Toby (squadmom), Nicole, Jackie, Alex, Shane, Cindy, for not only helping us plan, but see it through from beginning to end. Mafia forever.
Shout out to Thomas for helping coordinate, Connor, Vikkimarie, Chris, & all of you who helped us set up & tear down!
Shout out to shrimpvision, Horace Greene, Traveling Suitcase, Drown the Lifeguard, Smoke Free Home, Deerskin, Krystal Kuttabish, Malaiya Marvel, Maria our tarot queen, & Web Weavers for amazing performances! And to Spirit Brandon for running sound & production ALL DAY.
We are beyond lucky to have a village like ours.
When I (Holly) first took over the bar, I was young & naive, but this place shaped me into the person I am today. Through all the tough decisions, and learning moments, we grew stronger and wiser. Thank you to those who have stuck by my side. I will continue to do my best by making sure Missfits remains a safe and welcoming place for all.
There is so much love and connection here, you can just feel it.
