I have a 2am license. I hate it. I NEVER should have gotten it! There is NOTHING good that happens after midnight and my sweet mama always told me that. I was so scared when I moved down the road. I had no idea what to expect. I lost my kitchen, my back deck…my gators. I lost everything that defined me and my bar. So I thought getting a 2am license would make up for that. But let me tell you right now how WRONG I was. I don’t wanna make my money off of people who should have been cut off in town. I don’t want to offer a place for people to drink WHO DO NOT NEED TO DRINK! This is some candid s**t and I’m sorry but it needs to be said. All I ever wanted was a safe, warm and comfortable place for my friends to come and enjoy a beer. Or two. I NEVER wanted to be Queen of the River or otherwise. I like it slow and steady. Cause slow and steady wins the race. In saying this I will no longer be open until 2am on weekends. We will close at 12am with the exception of Saturday nights when we will close at 1am. That’s enough. That’s all anybody needs. Be mad…talk s**t…
