Well... We bought more barrels! 🥃 We are so honored to continue being recognized in the wh***ey world. We headed back down to Kentucky, crammed a ton in a few days & visited several distilleries. This year we picked our FIFTH barrel from Four Roses 🌹 our No. 5 selected OESV 20% Rye Mashbill / Delicate Fruit Notes - almost 10 years, and will bottle between 120-125 proof! ...our surprise distillery this year was Dark Arts! We were treated with so many amazing finishes, it wasn't easy, but we went with a French Oak-Crème Brûlée - 6 Year - should come in around 110 proof at bottling. Ohhhh sooo good! Of course we visited Michter’s, they treat us so well. We got another personal tour at Shively from Daniel McKee Dan McKee, he's the absolute best! After, they shuttled us to their Fort Nelson location, we all did a bottle fill and was treated to nightcaps in their beautiful bar. We also stopped at Buffalo Trace, James E. Pepper, RD1, bottled thiefed at J. Mattingly 1845 with their master distiller (highly recommend their juice!), Nulu... and more we don't really remember. 🤣 Stay tuned for our bottle release private party once they arrive!
