Happy Friday! We have a delightful Friday Night Flight set up for you tonight featuring an oft overlooked varietal that we love: Pinot Blanc! We’re featuring three bottles of this grape from three different places- Michigan, France, and Austria. To start us off we have the Left Foot Charley Island View Pinot Blanc from Old Mission Peninsula, Michigan. Nice weight and texture on the palate are balanced by lovely citrus notes and a chalky minerality. Next we’re pouring the Gustave Lorentz Pinot Blanc from Alsace, France. This wine is fresh and lively with a brisk acidity and a beautiful, crushed-stone minerality. Finally we have the Hoepler Winery Pinot Blanc from Burgenland, Austria. Another crisp, refreshing Pinot Blanc with a really clean minerality and some delicate, subtle floral notes. As always, no need to sign up tonight, just come through the shop anytime between 4:30pm and 6:30pm (or until the bottles are empty!). And of course you’re more than welcome to enjoy your flights in the beautiful Kerrytown Market & Shops of Ann Arbor courtyard! Cheers and hope to see you tonight!
