If you look on our page's "wall" you'll see we posted that we were "officially closed" last year on August 6th. Facebook wants to know if we are "actually" closed? Sounds like a rhetorical question, Facebook. Well, it's true we did light the bar on fire (literally) and "close" on that sad day. The couches were burned, the absinthe poured out in honor. But the West Nile Patio & trauma center still stands. So, with that we say, come one come all. WSB lives on....forever. See you in the sunshine. Things are looking pretty good over here, we're ready to make you a cocktail or three.

West Side Bar is officially closed. I know we announced that a year ago, however, in addition to the occasional small time whiskey tasting event - evidence of the past still remained until today - in the form of a nice collection of empty liquor bottles, half a bottle of absinthe, some deflated balloons, a plastic doll with no head, a dart board, the christmas lights, some alcohol infused whipped cream, and some other misc remnants of parties past. If we hosted your bachelor party, your birthday party, or just a chill evening relaxing on one of the many couches, or the west nile patio - we just wanted to say thanks. There were some amazing memories left behind. Those which will never fade.

We're opening up the Bar AND the West Nile Patio this Thursday for an End of Summer BARBQ - don't miss it. 6 p.m.

we will be open again this afternoon, if anyone wants to come by. Both the bar and the West Nile Patio are open, as well as the pool and the grill. We still have jello shots and adult dirt cake, both of which are complimentary.
