Temps crept up higher yesterday so it was time for the flavor captain to visit for some handmade ice cream. I went big and got two delicious scoops. Huckleberry and banana Oreo, one safe flavor and one wild flavor and it did not disappoint. Take a moment to look at those perfectly round scoops, did homie go to scoop college? Wow, the flavor was off the charts and it instantly cooled me down as I made my way through downtown. Temps are gonna get scorching next week so make sure you stop by and treat yourself, you deserve it. Open 12-7 daily, which is a big deal because offerings get real lean on Mon/tue. Support local and don’t eat freezer burned ice cream!

Chef Beverly has a new treat for you. These beautiful steamed pork dumplings are sure to tantalize your palate! Tender ground pork, soy sauce, ginger, shallot, garlic chives, sesame oil in a tender gyoza wrapper. Chef spreads these out on a slate with gochujang kewpie mayo that makes the perfect accompaniment. While supplies last, come see for yourself what we’re doing down here in historic downtown Angels Camp and you’ll leave Soto a story worth telling.

Tonight we have the Henderson Acoustic Duo at 7pm! Local favorites, Larry and Linda bring a harmonizing wall of sound that fills the room with immaculate vibes. Don’t take our word for it, come see for yourself. Show up early for the best seats and fill your belly with Chef Beverly’s innovative bar food. Roger was spotted in the wild visiting our friends at the and picking up some Porcini Salami for a backcountry snack. This isn’t any ordinary salami, this is from , the same good folks who supply our rich Berkshire ground pork for Chef’s lumpia. It did make a great snack out in the wild. Remember leave no trace, pack it in and pack it out when you visit
