Anderson's Veterans Walk Of Honor We thank you for your dedication and sacrifice. Visible from Hwy 273, it is a place to both remember and honor those who have served our country.

Officially opened on 12/18/11 in Anderson, California, the Anderson's Veterans' Walk Of Honor is a place to honor all of our service men and women who served in times of peace and in times of conflict. The Anderson's Veterans' Walk of Honor is located on East Center Street between the Fire House Lounge and Allen & Dahl.

Today has been bittersweet. Five years ago we said goodbye to the man who literally dreamed of and brought into existence the Walk of Honor. He felt it was his crowning achievement. I feel him looking down every time we add a name,clean the Walk or just go sit and reflect in the peace felt there. We miss you, James Yarbrough! We are doing our best to keep moving your dream forward.

A plea for help. We are having issues with people allegedly sleeping inside the Walk of Honor. Last week I found chair pads, a comforter, tons of cigarette butts, food thrown around and a black mask on the kneeling soldier statue. Today we found articles of women’s underwear thrown around. I have alerted the City Manager and APD. If you are in the area, would you please help us keep an eye on our beautiful park? We want it to continue being a lovely place to honor our vets. Thank you!!
