Ames on the Half Shell is an annual concert series held by the Ames Jaycees at Durham Bandshell Park in Ames. Soda and water are $1 each.

This event is the primary annual fundraiser for the Ames Jaycees, a group of young professionals committed to enhancing our community. Ames on the Half Shell presented by the Ames Jaycees is an annual concert series held at Durham Bandshell Park in Ames each summer. Food truck(s) and beverages are available for purchase each night. Dance Marathon is the largest student-run philanthropic organization on Iowa State's campus and raises funds and awareness for the University of Iowa Stead Family Children's Hospital, supports local families impacted by childhood illness, and provides development and involvement opportunities for students at Iowa State.Please consider making a donation!
