Our Story
DELI HOURS: 10:30am-9:00pm, Open until 11pm Thurs-Sat
The Tick Tock Bar & Café, located in the heart of Ambridge, Pennsylvania at the corner of 11th and Merchant has been a legendary bar/deli since 1950 when it was first called the Bridge Cafe. The building is now under new ownership and the entire business is currently being revamped. So far the bar is almost completely renovated with the addition of new bar stools, tables and televisions, free Wi-Fi, a refinished bar top, a brand new 10-tap draft system and multiflow system, a takeout and bottle cooler with the largest beer selection in town, as well as throw-back pictures and décor that emphasizes the history of the Tick Tock and the town of Ambridge. Plans are in the works to build a new Italian style deli with soups and sandwiches to go along with the lottery and convenience store. We are working with the Community Development Program of Beaver County to upgrade the building façade and also plan to open up inside with new bathrooms and a common seating area so the new deli can be connected with the bar. We hope to be serving food in early 2015! This has been a family project from the start and as we’ve made progress, the family has grown with it. We are excited as a family to be a part of reestablishing the Tick Tock and taking part in the revitalization of Ambridge. This place was, is, and will continue to be something special. Come visit us and see what this family is all about!
