Harvest is upon us! We will be offering freezer meals again. Like last year, these are pre order and we’ll freeze them unless requested not.

In addition to the freezer meals, our made to order pizzas are great for having in the freezer.
And we’re going to try out a couple soup options. These will be $10/quart.

We also want to remind everyone that our staff works hard to provide a welcoming experience for all of our guests. Treating our staff disrespectfully or inappropriately will not be tolerated. We ask that everyone show the same kindness and respect to our team that they would expect for themselves.

And if you cannot respect our staff, you will be asked to leave and escorted out.

It’s unfortunate this even needs to be said, but sometimes a reminder is necessary.

What a weekend! We just want to take a moment to say a HUGE THANK YOU to the amazing people of Amboy and everyone who came out and supported Linda’s Place during the big weekend! 🍻🎶🌭🥤

From the packed tables to the laughs, good food, cold drinks, live music, and all the familiar faces — you are what makes this little town so special. ❤️

We’re so grateful for every person who stopped in, grabbed a bite, had a drink, danced, visited, brought a friend, or simply showed your support. Your support means more to us than you know!

Amboy may be a small town, but when we come together, we sure know how to have a BIG time! 🇺🇸

Shout out to our staff who worked long shifts and stayed longer or hopped behind the bar because we were busy—
Debbie— you may not enjoy making mixed drinks but you rocked the weekend anyway!

Brenda— the tornado, but in a good way! She’s fast and just does it all and with a 😊

Nolan— you cooked almost every meal that came out of the kitchen. You kept your cool even when it reached 80+ degrees in there!

Ryan— you keep people laughing and having a good time! The outside grilling was a hit! Thanks for jumping in Saturday with or without being asked!

Reagan— assisted with brunch and operated the dirty soda stand and did great! She wasn’t scheduled but offered to stay and help!

Colby— assisted with serving brunch and always helping with the heavy stuff!

Quinn— always smiling and ran the brunch operation for us this year so we could still serve at LP. Also brought the cutest little helpers.

Lance— guest bartender Friday night outside

Last but definitely not the least, Linda— you’ve come so far in the last year and I’m so proud of you! We couldn’t do it without you.

Amboy Days & Events is this weekend! We cannot wait to see every one!

Friday 9/11
🚜 Kids Pedal Pull starts at 5pm on the street by City Hall
🌭 We are just a few steps away and we’re grilling hotdogs, brats, rib eye sandwiches & we will have our full menu available inside
🥤 Canned Cocktails, Beer, pop and water available outside. Full bar inside.

🥁 Blue Dirt Road hits the “stage” at 6:30pm. This is an outdoor show, all are welcome. NO outside food or drink allowed (as in don’t bring your own). No cover fee.

Saturday 9/12
🍳 For the first time in a long time during Amboy Days, we will be open for breakfast Saturday morning 7-10. We will have coffee, cinnamon rolls, muffins and our whole menu available for dine in our take out

Hot beef sandwich $6
Dirty Sodas $7

We will have a little stand out front on Maine street for quick ordering.

Full menu available all day. Try one of our many appetizers: curds, spicy curds, mac n cheese bites, fries pickles & more! 🤤

Few things to note:
❌We will NOT be serving our weekend dinner menu
🕒We close at 3pm so staff can eat and take a short break before the parade. Basically our whole staff is in it. We will reopen immediately afterwards.

Meet our 2026 Grand Marshal: Linda Busse

If you’re able, pick up the MR Messenger and read all about her. Linda (owner of Linda’s Place) has been in town a long time (since 1983!) While she’s not working, which is almost never, she enjoys the little things in life—Sitting by a bon fire, ice cold RC Cola, lemon anything and watching buffalo!

Linda & her business have been big supporters of Amboy and Amboy Days over the years! Congratulations, Linda! You deserve it! She will be rolling through the parade right behind the fire trucks in the parade next Saturday at 4pm—be sure to wave! 👋
