LWS was created with two friends, a cluttered garage and an undying passion for craft beer. Starting with basic knowledge, basic equipment and well, basically nothing, we created our first brew. In the fall of 2009, receiving steam burns while stirring a pot of boiling wort with a wooden spoon, the comment was made, “man, I wish we had a long wooden spoon!” The name stuck.

Well it was a good 6 years here. We are looking to be out of this building in the next couple weeks. This is the last piece of the brewery. I really don't have room for it and I am hoping it can find a good home and raise a bit of funds for us to finish out our lease and other stuff to wrap up here. So I am auctioning off the Sign. We will keep the post up for at least a couple days. Sign is about 3 ft in diameter. The last hail storm broke the lense on it, will repair if need before it goes to a new home. Not sure if leds work still after that last storm. So post your bid below. Starting at $500. Cheers!

So today we were supposed to have our first fundraiser of the year, and it is the one that is closest to our hearts. Having to shut down broke a few hearts especially around this event. Remembering Wyatt Dale is very special to us. I have decided to put these t-shirts on my online store. Proceeds will go to the organization. One way or another we are going to grow the presence of this organization in this area.
