Tonight’s drink is a Guadalajara, MX classic—
La Batanga

A Batanga is a popular, simple Mexican cocktail similar to a Cuba Libre, but made with tequila instead of rum, fresh lime juice, and Mexican Coca-Cola (made with cane sugar), served in a salt-rimmed glass and traditionally stirred with the lime-cutting knife. It offers a refreshing mix of earthy agave, bright citrus, and sweet cola, gaining recent viral popularity on social media for its straightforward recipe and authentic roots at La Capilla bar in Tequila, Mexico.

When I moved to Amarillo, TX, I’d go to a bar and everyone would rave about a “Chilton”. When I finally tried one, I was dumbfounded because it was just a Vodka Soda with lemon. 🤣 💀 In this region, it’s not just that, it has a sense of meaning and history especially those who live in Lubbock, TX. Now it’s one of my favorite drinks to order especially a Cucumber Chilton!

The Chilton is a drink we recommend and have made at almost every event we have worked since our mobile bartending journey. Last night, we made approximately 200+! Not only do we make each drink in front of you but we also use the freshest produce available.

Happy New Year’s Eve! It’s been an amazing year and thank you for those who have used our services.

People always ask me, “what is your favorite drink?” I always respond by saying, “that’s easy, a mojito!” It’s sweet, minty, refreshing, & it will be my go-to for tonight. Drink responsibly and salúd!
