Last week, we were honored to host Scott Corey's retirement celebration after 40 remarkable years serving students at Chester Elementary, Chester Jr. Sr. High, and beyond.

Seeing current and former teachers come together to celebrate him was a beautiful reminder of the lives he's touched.

Join local yoga instructor Marlor Moor as she returns for another amazing season of instructing yogis on the Plumas Pines Lawn!

This Saturday, 6/6/26, from 10:00AM – 11:00AM, Marlo will lead a gentle lakeside yoga class open to all levels. All you need is a yoga mat or towel, water, and the $10 class fee (cash or check).

This season, we will be providing a complimentary Mimosa or Orange Juice at the end of each class and we will also be featuring our first-ever Yoga Raffle Giveaway!

To celebrate World Bicycle Day, we wanted to share this awesome video that Plumas County put together a few years ago, showcasing the Lake Almanor Recreation Trail!

As you can see, this trail is perfect for a bike ride, wildlife viewing, and even just relaxing by the lake. While exploring this scenic paved, non-motorized trail, don't be afraid to hop off for a slight detour and visit us for some food, drinks, or other supplies at our Bar & Grill or Store.

We had a full house on Sunday night's Trivia Night hosted by Zach and Jenna of Wake Almanor! 🎉🧠
