There are no words that can truly express the heartbreak our Alloway Veterans family is feeling today.
It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our Vice President, Devin Vanmeter, at just 36 years old.
Devin had the rare gift of making people laugh, even on the hardest days. His quick wit, contagious sense of humor, and genuine kindness brought light into every room he entered. He was the kind of person who could lift your spirits with a joke, make you feel welcome, and remind you not to take life so seriously.
But beyond the laughter was a man with a generous heart, unwavering dedication, and a deep love for our bar and the people in it. He gave his time, his energy, and his friendship so freely, leaving an impact that will never be forgotten.
Thirty-six years is far too short. The loss we feel is immeasurable, and the silence left behind by his absence is one that will be felt for a long time.
To Devinās family, friends, and everyone who loved him, we extend our deepest condolences. Please know that your Alloway Veterans family is grieving alongside you.
Rest easy, Devin. Thank you for every laugh, every act of kindness, and every moment you shared with us. Your laughter will echo in our memories, your friendship will remain in our hearts, and your legacy will live on in this bar that you helped make so special.
You were deeply loved, and you will be deeply missed.
