We are officially out of the building now. There are some items behind the brewery for free if anyone is interested. A freezer, table saw, food grades drums and other misc items. Anything left on a Monday will be disposed of.

The first pickup date for older mug club members will be Wednesday the 13th from 11-6pm if you cannot pick it up see if someone else can. Please know your number also.

I know many of you are waiting for your mugs and we are planning on a pickup date. We are currently waiting on the last shipment of mugs to be finished, when we receive them I will post a pick up date. Thank you for understanding.

To clarify, the reason we are closing is due to profitability. We haven't turned a profit for 3 years and have struggled with cash flow since we opened. The licensing had little to do with closing other than creating an interruption in business that made sense not to reopen. I take full responsibility for not renewing the license, but it does not play a major role. In retrospect, I should have just renewed the license and announced we were closing. Too many people are focusing on the license as a reason for closure. The reason was profitability.

My heart is heavy as I write this post. Millgrove Brewing is no longer open for business. We’ve experienced cash flow problems that we are unable to overcome. The problem was compounded on Tuesday when we were forced to stop serving alcohol due to an issue renewing our liquor license. My father was the one responsible for renewing our license annually, and it managed to slip through the cracks, causing an interruption in business.

I intended to announce Grove Fest as our last day of business so that we could all end on a high note. With the interruption we’re experiencing, it’s best that we close early.

Thank you to our wonderful staff. Without them, we would not have made it this far. Thank you to all the friends we made over the past 3 years and thank you so much for the memories.

Mug club members will be invited to take their mugs home. Stay tuned for more information.

Due to a hiccup in renewing our license, we are temporarily unable to serve alcohol or uncork wine. We're still serving food and house made soda. We expect to resolve the issue with the permit either today or tomorrow. Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience.
