Starting July 8th Johnnie Lega's Restaurant & Tavern will now be closed on Tuesdays! Most restaurants and bars in the area close one day a week for maintenance, cleaning and staffing! We have new happy hour pricing and hours Mon thru Fri 1pm to 6pm 2$ domestic bottled beer! 4$ vosa long drink 3.75 carbliss or 13$ bucket. Come on in and see us!!

Good afternoon to our loyal customers and newbies alike 😀
At Johnnie Lega's Restaurant & Tavern we love ALL of our customers!! We absolutely know that you have a choice as to where you spend your hard earned dollars and that you choose to come to Legas means the world to us!! It truly does!!

We acknowledge that we have made mistakes in the past and we've had former employees that have caused some.....issues, but I assure you we are working hard...I am working hard to rectify that. We are going through a transitional period where it is becoming harder and harder to find help ..anyone who owns a business or does the hiring can attest to this. Unfortunately!! We've had a high turnover rate lately and I apologize for this as it makes it difficult on customers and employees for us to always be training and then iit not work out! I can promise you that we are trying our damndest to provide great service, amazing food and ice cold beer and cocktails. We appreciate our loyal customers hanging in there with us as we try to revamp our business. You're going to see things like updated hours, menu changes and new drinks. We recently started selling VOSA ....non carbonated water based long drinks that are amazing and don't weigh you down. Everything but the can itself is made here in Michigan and the company is based in Battle Creek. Try the pink lemonade which is awesome or starting Thurs we'll have cherry, that's sooooo good when you pop the top it smells like you're standing in a cherry orchard!!! Well be doing specials....single can or buckets to introduce them to y'all!!

Side note....we have a couple of ex employees..
Ex.... for r reasons...that are ridiculously bad mouthing us , telling lies and starting trouble....I'm sorry for that but we can't stop people from being ignorant...oh how I wish we could lol
Just know that all of us here at Legas appreciate each and every one of you and are doing our best to make your next stop at Legas a great one!!

Saturday July 5th.. Johnnie Lega’s Restaurant and Tavern will be closing early at 8 pm....last seating for dinner is 7pm due to Algonac Fireworks! Last call will be at 730 and doors closed at 8pm . The Legas family gets to spend time with their families to watch the beautiful display! Friday July 4th we will be open 11 am to 10 pm ( kitchen closes at 8) and Sunday July 6th we will be open 11 am to 10pm ( kitchen closes at 8)

Whether you're out on the water ( we have a public dock) at a backyard BBQ or just taking a day off...stop in at Legas for a cold beer, good food and great conversation.. I'll be there til close Fri Sat and sun and everyone knows I love to talk and sarcasm is my first language 😛 !!
