🍞 Fresh bread today at Billie Jo’s till noon then headed to the Lakes Area Farmers Market.

🌾 Farmhouse – The bedrock loaf. Deep crust, real grain character, and the kind of chew that reminds you why bread mattered in the first place.

🧄 Roasted Garlic Asiago – Slow roasted garlic, sharp cheddar, and Asiago melted through savory sourdough with enough aroma to hijack the whole room.

Thanks for the strong bread sales yesterday — you guys cleaned us out. We appreciate every loaf, basket, burger, and beer that walked out the door this week.

Bread today came out swinging.

Real grain. Long fermentation. No shortcuts. Just loaves built to actually taste like something.

Today’s lineup:

🌾 FARMHOUSE The bedrock loaf. Yecora Rojo and Wren’s Abruzzi rye from Barton Springs Mill with deep wheat flavor, real chew, and a crackling crust that smells like an actual bakery should.

🧄🧀 ROASTED GARLIC ASIAGO Roasted garlic melted into the crumb with sharp cheddar and Sartori Asiago throughout. Savory, rich, and built for soup, sandwiches, and absolutely destroying a grilled cheese.

🌶️🧀 CHEDDAR JALAPEÑO ASIAGO Sharp cheddar, aged Asiago, and cored jalapeños for flavor without reckless heat. Toast this loaf once and it starts becoming a problem.

🍋🫐 LEMON BLUEBERRY Whole grain spelt from Janie’s Mill layered with Meyer lemon and organic apple juice–infused blueberries. Bright, jammy, citrusy, and somewhere between breakfast and dessert.
