Summer evenings on the courthouse lawn are back 🎶🌳☀️

The first Red Willow Arts Coalition Summer Concert Series of the season kicks off tonight in Downtown Alexandria. Bring a lawn chair or blanket, gather with friends and family, and enjoy an evening of free live music on the Douglas County Courthouse lawn.

There is not a Memorial Day Parade in Alexandria this year. Our apologies for an incorrect post late last week. The organizers have decided not to continue with it and it appeared as a recurring annual event on our calendar. We have made that update.

There is a Memorial Day event on the calendar: A Memorial Service is scheduled at St. Mary's Cemetery (723 West Winona Rd) starting at 11:00 a.m. with lunch to follow at the VFW in Alexandria.
