🏁 AMARILLO DRAGWAY RACERS & FANS — IMPORTANT RACE WEEKEND UPDATE! 🏁
Well, here we are again... watching the weather forecast! 🌧️
We are fully aware of the forecast for this weekend, and unfortunately, Mother Nature seems determined to challenge us one more time!
But here's what we want everyone to know:
WE ARE NOT CANCELING THIS EVENT BASED ON A WEATHER FORECAST!
We have worked too hard, waited too long, and experienced too many rainouts this season to throw in the towel simply because there's a chance of rain.
Our staff is committed to doing EVERYTHING within our power to get this race in!
If rain actually arrives, we will evaluate the conditions, consider our options, and make decisions from there. As always, the safety of our racers, spectators, and staff will remain our top priority.
But until that happens, WE ARE RACING!
We're asking every racer, crew member, and fan to make your plans, load those race cars, and come prepared for an incredible weekend of racing!
We've faced plenty of challenges this season, but one thing I've learned is that this racing family knows how to persevere, come together, and make the best of whatever comes our way.
Let's have a little faith, stay positive, and believe we're going to get this one in!
Our racers deserve this event, our staff is ready to make it happen, and we're determined to finish this season doing what we all love — DRAG RACING!
