Heston was bartending, and Joe Lindsey came in and said he had just driven 19 hours to move to New Mexico and was going to get the name of the first person he met tattooed on him. Joe was the first person he met. He thought heston was joking. Joe Lindsey returned the next day with Heston’s tattooed on his arm

“Sandia Autumn Velvet”

Founders Infused
rosemary, apricots, tequila
Clarified with orange cream,
almond pistachio ice cream
Served on the rocks with a rosemary sprig

Joe Lindsey once Patrons ordered a Piña Colada completely expecting a standard rum, cola, and lime “Cuba Libre”and then got furious when a tropical, coconut-and-pineapple blended drink showed up. He made Heston drink it.

El Rey liquors 1792 store pick bourbon
Ameretto
Maraschino liqueur
St. Elizabeth all spice dram
Toasted almond bitters
Luxardo cherry juice
Served up with a Luxardo cherry and cinnamon

Joe Lindsey asked Heston if he could make them two mezcal old fashioneds. Heston filled up two highball glasses with CRUSHED ice, poured in mezcal, added only bitters and handed them over. No syrup or sugar of any kind. Out of some deranged desire to be non-confrontational, they tried to drink these two abominations. The things you do for love.

Heston once put a dip in his mouth. He picked up a shaker tin to spit his nasty to***co juice. Joe Lindsey grabbed the shaker without saying a word or losing eye contact and lifted it up dramatically over a trash can and dropped it straight in the bin. Heston couldn’t figure out why Joe was mad, he made this cocktail to apologize to him.

A lightbulb fell out of the fitting and hit Joe Lindsey on the head, while making the fall menu. He thought Heston had thrown it. A massive brawl ensued inside Founders. Soon they created this cocktail
